A few months ago, I was getting some new balls for our youth group’s game of Scatterball (something that is very close to dodgeball) and after a bunch of research, I ended up getting a set of Rhino Skin Dodgeballs. They ended up being perfect for our game (perfect size, weight, texture…everything), but what I found out before I got the dodgeballs to church was that Caleb loved them.
I had played “catch” with him a few times, but it wasn’t until we got these Rhino Skin Dodgeballs that he really enjoyed playing with a ball. Our favorite game, recently, has been fetch, and he loves running all over the house retrieving this blue dodgeball. One of my favorite things about this ball is the fact that he can pick up the ball with one hand.
If you’re looking for the perfect ball for your kid to play with, think about getting one of these Rhino Skin Dodgeballs.

Your story really gives us hope for a happy ending. We experienced a loss of our baby boy on 1/10/13 at 18 weeks. Our whole life has crumbled and all we can think of is the hope of being able to have another baby as you’ve sone. Although, there is this feeling of guilt because my son never had a chance at life and I’m not intending to replace him but just have this guilt…
Thanks for your posts, I know my husband right now feels so alone. Especially at times when people are more concerned with me versus him, that alone tears me to pieces. Men need the same extra treatment that us women get when we deal with the loss of a child. I will definitely point him in your direction because finding stories like yours can help him with coping.
Take care and hugs to your family,
