Today we had our first experience at one of the Twin Valley Mothers of Twins Club sales. We didn’t really know what we wanted – and didn’t want to buy a bunch of stuff that we may get at showers anyway – but we did want to see if we could find any great deals. We went when there was about 30 minutes left for the sale, walked around a bit, and then I saw it. The BABYBJÖRN BabySitter. This was the kind of thing that I remember people saying would be worth having two of for the twins, but I figured one would be a good start.
It was selling for $50 but we were there during the “Everything’s Half Off” portion of the sale, so $25 seemed pretty good. I got on my iPhone and checked on Amazon, and sure enough – it was selling for $133.29 (retail: $179.95). It also had the wooden toys attached (those go for another $35.33 on Amazon). So, something that would cost $168.62 on Amazon, we got for $25. I always sucked at math – so I don’t know what percentage of a discount that is, but…pretty awesome.
And then as we were walking out…we saw another one. And it was a perfect match. So, for $50 we got $337.24 worth of BABYBJÖRN stuff. Thus begins the madness of baby stuff I guess. I can only imagine our house come next March. Dang. This is going to be interesting…
