So we have a little deal here at the Walker Cleaveland household. Sarah will let me take her belly shots (and even post some online) as long as I also take some belly shots. The hope is that while Sarah’s belly grows while sustaining two little lives inside…mine will NOT grow. Though – I’ve heard enough stories of expectant fathers who put on some “sympathy weight.” I’d really rather not…and my belly feels about the same as it did before pregnancy (though the scale may tell a different story – no need to check though).
So, below I’ve posted the first equal opportunity belly shot. This is at 16 weeks and 1 day. It’s kind of amazing to think that there are two little babies in Sarah’s belly. It’s also amazing to think about what it’s going to look like in the end…

I took on 10 lbs as sympathy weight. Still trying to knock it off. Good luck.

So cute! I kind of like having a big belly, it makes me feel like I have something to show for all the work I’ve been doing growing these kids. But now that I’ve reached the cranky/anxious/gigantic phase I hate that everybody feels like they can talk to me and ask questions and give me unsolicited advice. I just posted my 34th week picture on my blog if you want to see what you have to look forward to! (Just, um, maybe skip the text part, it’s not so warm and fuzzy.)

Hey, I have one of those! And our kids are already out in the world. Maybe I should stop celebrating pregnancy.
