So – obviously I’m going to need to be a fast-learned with twins on the way – but I have never changed a diaper. Yup, not afraid to admit that. But I’m really not too worried – after all, I have YouTube!
Well, that’s what I had been thinking. And I’m sure there are plenty of YouTube videos on changing a diaper that might actually be helpful. But…seriously? What’s with this video? She’s trying to prove that you can change a cloth diaper in the same time that it takes to change a disposable? Okay – I can get behind that goal. But…using a stuffed animal as the “test subject?” My favorite is when she takes the diaper off and then just sort of sets the teddy bear off to the site while she’s dealing with the diaper.
Because – I’m pretty sure that babies will just stay totally still like that and not move around, not pee or do other things while you’re trying to change the diaper…yup, it will probably work JUST. LIKE. THAT.
Uh-huh. But seriously – in those moments when “I need to figure out QUICK how to do this?!” I’ll probably check out YouTube from time to time. I did (in the past couple years – just because I was a little “unsure” about my technique) check YouTube to figure out how to properly plunge a toilet. And the video I found was very helpful. But…of course it can be a little hit or miss sometimes. I’m sure if I had found this video – it wouldn’t have been as helpful in assisting me with learning some basic toilet plunging technique (but it is kind of funny).
Any way – have you ever searched for something on YouTube to figure out how (or how NOT) to do something?

I had to You Tube how to tie the Moby Wrap. It was very helpful! 🙂

Never had twins, but I do currently have 2 kids in diapers. It can be done. And much as I’m happy for Mary, the Moby Wrap just made me depressed – I hope you’ll have better luck with it.

Speaking of diapers… will you be using disposable? I have a ton of diapers that Julian grew out of. Let me know if you are interested! I’d be happy to pass them along to you… Or perhaps it’s time Julian makes his first appearance at church and delivers them himself 🙂
